Help Bring Pregnancy Help to Your Community

For almost 50 years, Pregnancy Help has supported whānau and pēpi across Aotearoa through practical, community-based care.

As demand for our services continues to grow, we know there are many communities throughout New Zealand where whānau would benefit from local Pregnancy Help support.

That is why we are always looking for passionate, community-minded individuals and groups who are interested in helping establish new Pregnancy Help branches in their area.

Opening a branch is an opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting difference within your local community — supporting whānau during pregnancy and early childhood with practical assistance, connection, and care.

The more branches we have, the more whānau we can support.

What a Pregnancy Help Branch Can Provide

Pregnancy Help branches provide free practical support tailored to the needs of their local communities. This may include:

  • Baby clothing and newborn essentials
  • Maternity clothing
  • Nappies and baby care items
  • Safe sleep support including bassinets and Pēpi-Pod support
  • Information, referrals, and emotional support
  • Community connection for whānau experiencing hardship or isolation

Each branch becomes part of a wider national network committed to supporting pēpi, tamariki, and whānau across Aotearoa.

Support Every Step of the Way

You do not need to do it alone.

Pregnancy Help provides guidance, resources, and ongoing support to help new branches become established and sustainable within their communities.

Whether you are an individual, community group, service organisation, or collective of volunteers, we would love to hear from people who are passionate about strengthening support for local whānau.

Help Us Reach More Whānau

Every new branch means more families can access practical support close to home.

If you are interested in bringing Pregnancy Help to your community and would like to learn more about the process of opening a branch please contact us.

Together, we can help ensure more whānau across Aotearoa feel supported, connected, and empowered to thrive.
